Life and letters of Saint Peter Julian Eymard. Vol. 1.
Credits
The writings of St Peter Julian Eymard, originally published in French, have been translated posthumously in many different languages. Many of Eymard’s texts were translated into English in the twentieth century and subsequently made available electronically. In brief: The Divine Eucharist series in the early twentieth century; the Eymard Library collection from 1930 to 1948; and Sr Catherine Marie Caron’s The life and letters of Saint Peter Julian Eymard in 1995 (digitised 2010).
Googlebooks and the Internet Archive are continually making the text of a wide range of titles available electronically. The Internet Archive provides full text of some Eymard literature, while Googlebooks provides access to excerpts and some full text. References from these providers are included on this site.
For an historical analysis of the evolution and transmission of Eymard’s writings, see, Saint Peter Julian Eymard: The legacy and its transmission.
